Christ the mighty Conqueror died,
For His own was crucified;
Fought our enemies to win,
Freedom from the guilt of sin;
Jesus came our souls to save,
So His life He freely gave.
At the cross of Calvary,
Christ obtained the victory!
Took our sins and bore them all,
Then upon Him wrath did fall;
O the conquest of that day,
Jesus washed our sins away!
Come ye children of the King,
Join with me this song to sing;
Praise the Lamb of Calvary,
By His blood we are set free!
For the conquest of the cross,
Saved us from eternal loss!
