SALVATION – WHAT A GLORIOUS PLAN
TUNE: MY FAITH HAS FOUND A RESTING PLACE
Salvation – What a glorious plan,
How suited to our need;
Redemption for the sons of man,
By God Himself decreed!
The Father chose in sovereign grace,
A multitude to save,
A remnant from our fallen race,
These to His Son He gave.
Way back in old eternity,
Christ promised to come down;
And He became our Surety,
To wear redemption's crown.
The time appointed came and then,
The Son became a Man;
He died to save us from our sin,
According to the plan.
Jesus, the mighty Victor lives,
And reigns upon His throne;
New life His blessed Spirit gives,
To all Who are His own.
The Spirit, full of pow'r and grace,
Shows to a sinful soul;
The Savior died and took their place,
To cleanse and make them whole.
