O what a theme of praise and joy,

That God would come to join Himself
With our humanity!
We thank You Lord for sovereign love,
Which sent Him from on high;
Jesus, our Savior came to earth,
For us to live and die.
A child was born, a Son was given,
And hear the angels sing –
"Glory to God and peace on earth,
Now worship Christ the King!"
