BLESS THE LORD

O bless the Lord, my soul, bless Him;
All that is in me bless His Name;
For wondrous benefits divine,
God, through His Son, has made them mine.
Forgiven of iniquity,
My soul is healed, from guilt set free;
Redeemed by blood, Christ paid the price,
He was the perfect Sacrifice.
Such lovingkindness, can it be –
Sent to a guilty soul like me?
I bless the Lord, these words I raise,
Unto my God this hymn of praise.
What tender mercies, rich and free,
God by His grace has shown to me!
Come all ye saints to join the strain,
Sing hallelujahs to His Name.
