Salvation – what a gracious plan,
How suited to our need!
It lifts a fallen, sinful man,
'Tis of the Lord indeed!
Our God in mercy chose a race,
A people for His own;
Ordained to save us by His grace,
Through Christ, His blessed Son.
We bless the Lord for His great scheme,
To cleanse and set us free;
