GLORY TO GOD

"Glory to God," the angels sang,
Through earth and heav'n their voices rang;
O hear the angels praise His Name,
The Son of God a Man became.
"Glory to God," now lift your voice,
Jesus has come – let hearts rejoice!
For guilty sinners, lost, undone,
God in great mercy sent His Son!
"Glory to God" these tidings tell,
God has come down with men to dwell;
Precious and holy, born a King,
Let every voice His glories sing.
"Glory to God," Christ came to save,
On Calvary His life He gave;
His precious blood, redemption bought,
Let praises to His Name be brought.
"Glory to God!" All glory give,
O praise His Name, by Him we live;
We shall be saved eternally,
Saved by the Christ of Calvary!
