There are many dividing factions in religion, these differences are too numerous to articulate. While religious leaders strive to overcome these dividing issues and come together on common ground they are leaving farther and farther behind the only real and true source of Spiritual unity and fellowship, which is Christ and His Gospel. There can be no unity and fellowship of the Spirit of God when the truth is cast aside. The true children of God are not divided. All believers look to Christ and believe the Gospel. They are in total agreement concerning Who God is, Who Christ is and salvation in Him, and who and what we are, both naturally and Spiritually. Sure, we may have different views and opinions concerning things of indifference, and some may be more mature than others, but Christians love Christ, His Gospel and one another. There is a bond, a fellowship, a mutual faith that unites the children of God together. The child of God seeks to tear down and destroy all barriers and mend all divisions that would separate us from Christ and one another. Religion labours to unite the flesh at the expense of Christ and His Gospel. There is a great difference in the objective of religion and the objective of the believer. Religion strives for the glory of man, the Christian strives for the glory of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Religious leader's zeal is for their success, the child of God's zeal is for the success of the Gospel and the glory of God. Unity is sweet only when Christ is our bond.
