Acts 20:24

Acts 20:24

"Neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my...ministry...to testify the gospel of the grace God."–Acts 20:24

Preaching the Gospel is as vital to God's minister as breathing to this physical body. Paul said, "Woe is me, if I preach not this Gospel" "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth...For therein Is the righteousness of God revealed." "We preach Christ and Him crucified." There is nothing else to preach. There is nothing else worth listening to.

Every Gospel minister takes this matter of preaching the Gospel of the Grace of God very seriously. He feels a great responsibility I faithfully discharge His ministry. I am responsible to God to faithful discharge this duty. I am responsible to those who hear me to faithful preach this Gospel. Preaching is not a job, but a solemn charge that laid upon every man called of God It is a "necessity."

I am aware that the message of the Gospel is not generally accepted or liked by this world, but I want to tell you why I preach this "Gospel of the grace of God."

I am sold on this Gospel because it really does saves sinners. Salvation does not just get us started in the right direction, it carries us all the way home, and that is "Good News." It is good because it does not depend on me either to start it or finish it. It is the "Good News of God." It is the only Gospel there is and it will save you and take you all the way home.
